Bio Blurb

Tobias Scheffel studied Information Systems at the TU München (TUM) from which he received his Bachelor of Science as well as his Master of Science. He completed his undergraduate studies with a thesis on implementation and anaylsis of a combinatorial auction, the RAD auction format. The subject of his master's thesis was design of experiments and of a platform for combinatorial auctions.

Since April 2007 Tobias is working as a research assistant at the Chair of Internet-based Information Systems (IBIS) of the TU München.

Research Areas / Fields of Interest

  • Combinatorial Auctions
  • Linear Optimazation
  • Software Engineering
